Redefining Luxury- My Nomadic Love Story Rooted in Nature

Mornings are a much anticipated routine for me — matcha latte in hand, sitting with the love of my life under the tall pines at the base of Mount Shasta. We share a tonic, talk about whatever’s moving through us, and breathe in mountain air before the day fully begins.

Our lovely 4-Seasons travel trailer gleams in the morning light, feeling less like a camper and more like a cottage on wheels. It was already quite nice, but we’ve made it our own. Soft green and cream panels where the bulky window shades used to be, a lovely wood work bench and storage space my partner built to house our bioenergy tools and create ample space for cooking, a home for the vast amounts of supplements and tinctures where the microwave once sat, and a small book nook where the tv tucked in (it took time for me to get my way with that one). It’s cozy, intentional, and perfectly ours. There’s often a pot of soup or bone broth bubbling away in the instant pot, filling our home with warmth and the scent of herbs.

Spending a long summer in Mount Shasta has been a dream fulfilled — hikes to waterfalls, paddleboarding on alpine lakes, long walks beneath towering cedars. It’s been more than a beautiful season; it’s been a healing one. After a difficult mold exposure earlier this year, my body and spirit both needed restoration. Living here, breathing mountain air, drinking clean spring water, grounding daily in this landscape has been the best medicine.

And right in the middle of this healing season, I landed my dream role with Pulse PEMF. The vast PNW as my territory. My work moves with me — visiting clinics, connecting with practitioners, and helping others discover the same kind of natural vitality that’s aligns with my history as a Holistic Practitioner. It feels less like a job and more like a calling that perfectly complements the way I live.

Soon we’ll be heading north for winter, following the rhythm of the seasons and settling near the Rogue River in southern Oregon. Life has simplified in all the right ways. The places we visit have their own rhythm, their own medicine, and their own community. While our home travels lightly, our roots grow deeper with each stop.

This lifestyle — staying in one region per season, exploring the Pacific Northwest with intention — is our way of listening to what feels aligned. Somewhere along this path is our dream acreage: a place to build a small homestead, a healthy cottage built with light and intention, where we can grow food, host gatherings, and live in harmony with the land while still doing the work that fulfills me.

Living this way is still new for us. I raised my kids in the suburbs north of San Diego, California as a single parent, doing the best I could with who I am and what support was available. A few years ago, I met my partner, and he joined me there for the last part of that chapter before life started calling us toward something different. We both carried the same dream — a simpler, healthier, more connected life. The universe has a funny way of nudging us toward what we’ve quietly wished for… and when we resist, it sometimes hands us a big ass kicking to get us moving.

Long ago, I realized that for me, luxury didn't mean square footage and things. It’s been about time, peace, health, and freedom. It’s about getting to wake up unhurried. It’s cooking nourishing meals from scratch. It’s feeling both grounded and free.

Being willing to explore beyond the edge of my comfort zone has been my greatest teacher. Taking the leap into this life, even though it had been my dream for a decade, was still deeply uncomfortable and unknown. Yet it also felt somehow perfectly aligned. And now, to be living the life I once only imagined — in a loving, conscious partnership, surrounded by nature, having regular adventures, building community, and doing work I truly love, is living proof that dreams and visions matter.

To me, this is luxury and abundance — a life that feels nourishing from the inside out. A life that honors both the simplicity of nature and the complexity of the human spirit.

If you’ve been feeling the pull to slow down, simplify, or create a life that feels more aligned with your body and soul... trust that nudge.

Alignment rarely arrives wrapped in comfort. But when you take that first step, life has a way of meeting you with support, clarity, and unexpected grace.

If this story resonates with you, I invite you to explore the same tools and practices that have supported my journey — from bioenergetic wellness and Pulse PEMF technology to grounding, nature immersion, and nourishment that brings the body back to balance.

Let’s redefine wellness — and luxury — from the inside out.
